A Special Virtual Event with Microsoft Women in Core Services Engineering & Operations

Join Microsoft and PowerToFly for an intimate virtual event to hear from a panel of business and technology leaders from the Core Services Engineering & Operations Organization, who will discuss their career journeys, current projects, answer audience questions and more.

Join our virtual event hosted on Microsoft Teams on Thursday, March 19th, at 6:00 PM ET.

Agenda (Subject to Change):

  • 6:00pm - Kick-Off from PowerToFly
  • 6:05pm - Welcome Address by Shoshanna Budzianowski, Partner Director of Program Management - Finance Management
  • 6:15pm - Panel Discussion & Audience Q&A

PowerToFly has been thrilled to partner with Microsoft on several past events. Check out photos from past gatherings HERE and HERE. Here's some attendee praise we received from a recent event with Microsoft:

  • After this event with Microsoft I learned that work life balance really exists at this company.
  • It was a great event! There is a clear need for networking events like this. I learned a lot about the team and felt like I had a great opportunity to connect with the members of the team and Microsoft recruiters in general. My favorite part was a panel format with Q&A.

If you are interested and available, Microsoft will be asking some attendees to interview for open roles on Friday, March 20th, the day after the event also at Microsoft's Reston office. Follow up interviews will take about two hours of your time and will be comprised of a technical interview and a hiring manager interview. Let us know when you register if you are available and if so, if you'd prefer the morning or the afternoon. If you are not available on 3/20, Microsoft and PowerToFly will work with you to find an alternate follow-up date.

An Inside Look at the World of Pre-Sales with Skedulo’s Cehrin Elyas

Cehrin Elyas spends a few hours each week with the imaginary characters she’s dreamed up. One of them is Donald, a 55-year-old man with dementia. Another is Mia, a support worker who cares for people like Donald and regularly takes him to get coffee or lunch.

Cehrin works in pre-sales at scheduling platform Skedulo, and Donald and Mia are two of the personas she’s built to help her understand her prospective clients. “I think of them like movie characters,” she says. “I put in lots of data relevant to the industries I’m pitching.”
