A Special Virtual Event with Microsoft Women in Core Services Engineering & Operations

Join Microsoft and PowerToFly for an intimate virtual event to hear from a panel of business and technology leaders from the Core Services Engineering & Operations Organization, who will discuss their career journeys, current projects, answer audience questions and more.

Join our virtual event hosted on Microsoft Teams on Thursday, March 19th, at 6:00 PM ET.

If you are interested and available, Microsoft will be asking some attendees to interview for open roles on Friday, March 20th, the day after the event also at Microsoft's Reston office. Follow up interviews will take about two hours of your time and will be comprised of a technical interview and a hiring manager interview. Let us know when you register if you are available and if so, if you'd prefer the morning or the afternoon. If you are not available on 3/20, Microsoft and PowerToFly will work with you to find an alternate follow-up date.

Jocelyne Wright-McLemore has a sticky note that she looks at every day: "I'm overqualified and I can do this."

Zapier's Director of Compensation put that sticky note up shortly after she rolled out a big new project at the online automation company and received some critical feedback on it. Though the criticism came from a tiny portion of her audience and the project was a success overall, hearing it brought back some of the self-doubt and imposter syndrome that she faced earlier in her career.
