Folsom Labs: What we're grateful for this Thanksgiving

Below is an article originally written by Desmond Pressey at PowerToFly Partner Folsom Labs and published on November 26, 2020. Go to Folsom Labs' page on PowerToFly to see their open positions and learn more.

This year has been one of many challenges. Collectively we have all been affected by the pandemic and witnessed social and political unrest. In spite of all of the challenges, it's still important for us to remember and express all that we are thankful for.

At Folsom Labs, we're incredibly thankful for our customers who are the engine behind bringing clean, sustainable solar energy to our world. We'd like to also share with you what the Folsom Labs team members are thankful for this year:

"I am thankful for the kindness and resilience of our team. We've all pulled together to support each other while we transition to remote work, and while we all try to grapple with social (in)justice issues. Also, I'm impressed at how well our customers have transitioned to a world of social distancing and remote operations. Even though there is still a lot of uncertainty around how COVID will evolve from here, there is no doubt that the solar industry will survive and even thrive."

-Paul Grana, CRO

"I am thankful for my family, our health and that post-election we have a shot at getting federal support for policies to address climate change."

- Clint Talbert, VPE

"I am thankful for the health of my family, friends, and coworkers. I'm also thankful for at-home workouts, national and city parks, and my neighborhood takeout spots."

- Stephanie Cheng, Product Engineer

"I am thankful for my health, family and the Folsom Labs community"

-Tiffany Harris, People Operations

"I am thankful for Tiffany on our people ops team and all the work she does to help us feel connected in the middle of a global pandemic! Amazing!"

-Presley Addy, Customer Support

"I am thankful for family, health, and lots of home-cooked meals!"

- Emily Marshall, Software Engineer

"I am thankful for a supportive community!"

- Lawrence Wu, Software Engineer

-Mac Elvina, Support Engineer

"I am thankful for my loving family"

- Daniel Robbins, Software Engineer

"I'm so grateful for working at Folsom Labs, with a team that truly cares and supports one another. I'm also thankful and blessed to have a healthy family despite the pandemic."

-Desmond Pressey, Customer Success Manager

As a team, we want to give special thanks to Tiffany Harris who organized this opportunity for us to speak on what we are thankful for. We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving Holiday!
