FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that it has been named to Consulting magazine's 2018 Best Firms to Work For list, which is based on an annual employee satisfaction survey completed by more than 10,000 consulting professionals from over 300 firms. FTI Consulting placed in the top 10 in the career development, client engagement, leadership, work-life balance, and compensation and benefits categories.
"Being named a Best Firm to Work For reflects the core mission that we are on, which is to ensure we are leveraging our deep expertise to help clients successfully navigate their most significant challenges," said Steven H. Gunby, President and Chief Executive Officer of FTI Consulting. "As we do so, we are winning the biggest assignments in the marketplace and therefore are able to provide powerful, exciting work and growth opportunities for our people, which in turn allows us to attract and support a talented and committed group of professionals. All of this makes the future of our firm incredibly bright."
Earning a top spot on Consulting's Best Firms to Work For list follows other workplace honors for the firm this year. In April, FTI Consulting was named to Forbes magazine's list of America's Best Management Consulting Firms for the third consecutive year in 18 sectors and functional areas.
In May, FTI Consulting and its Compass Lexecon subsidiary were recognized as firm of the year in four categories at the annual Who's Who Legal Awards ceremony in London. FTI Consulting was named Consulting Firm of the Year, Arbitration Consulting Firm of the Year and Investigations Forensic Accounting Firm of the Year. Compass Lexecon was named Competition Economics Firm of the Year.
In June, Compass Lexecon led the Who's Who Legal: Competition 2018 – Economists list, with 42 professionals recognized for their expert testimony in complex antitrust matters and advice on intricate matters of competition economics. In addition to having the most experts of any firm named to the list, Compass Lexecon had the most individuals recognized as Thought Leaders.
In July, FTI Consulting and Compass Lexecon led the Who's Who Legal: Consulting Experts guide for the third consecutive year with 144 professionals recognized, more than twice as many as the next firm. These experts represented the firm's Corporate Finance & Restructuring, Economic Consulting, Forensic & Litigation Consulting and Technology segments and hailed from 18 countries around the world.
Earlier this month, FTI Consulting was named Global Turnaround Consulting Firm of the Year for the fourth consecutive year and honored with 21 Turnaround Atlas Awards by the Global M&A Network.
