Challenges and Solutions for Women in Tech, presented by Pluralsight + PowerToFly

Are you obsessed with learning? Do you love keeping up with the latest tech trends? Are you passionate about helping others expand their knowledge? If so, PowerToFly would love to have you attend an invite-only evening with the women tech leaders of Pluralsight.

Pluralsight is making it easy to keep up with technology through expert-led courses, assessments, and tools in fields such as software development, IT ops, data, and cyber security. We will explore how women can get into technology, stay in technology and re-enter technology. What are current barriers keeping women away from tech or not encouraging them to stay? What can we do to raise awareness and understanding of the problems women are facing and find solutions to help with these problems.

The event will be held on Wednesday, November 28th from 6pm to 8pm at Pluralsight's Boston office, located at 60 State Street, Suite 800, Boston, MA.

Agenda (Subject to Change)

Pluralsight is one of Great Places to Work and FORTUNE Magazine's "Best Small & Medium Workplaces 2018" and has been named one of the top 100 private cloud companies by Forbes. Their partners include Adobe, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle. Most recently, Pluralsight was named a "Top Workplace in Boston" by The Boston Globe.

You don't need to be looking for new job opportunities to attend (if you want to come network with your peers, that's great too), but Pluralsight is hiring! You'll see some of this come to life in how they work together and their sweet perks like unlimited time off and free massages.

About our Events: All attendees who RSVP are welcome, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, or age. If you require accommodation to fully participate in this event, please email hi@powertofly.com, and we will contact you to discuss your specific needs.

Unfortunately, PowerToFly and Pluralsight cannot admit outside recruiters to that particular event. Please email hi@powertofly.com if you have any questions about this policy.

About Pluralsight: At Pluralsight, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to create progress through technology and develop the skills of tomorrow. With assessments, learning paths, and courses authored by industry experts, our platform helps businesses and individuals close skills gaps in critical areas, innovate faster, and deliver on key objectives.

She helped students and professors with word processors, basic programming, and software checkout, and took a full-time job after graduation as a UNIX system administrator.
