Tech Women Leaders in Deutsche Bank’s Corporate & Investment Bank Share Their Journeys

PowerToFly kicked of May by hosting a sold out, invite only evening of networking, thought-provoking discussion and innovative tech talks featuring the women Tech leaders and male allies at Deutsche Bank.

Hosted by PowerToFly's CEO Milena Berry, the evening featured a truly impressive lineup of speakers who not only discussed their latest projects but also shared their personal career journeys, including how Deutsche Bank has provided the support they've needed to thrive in their careers.


The night kicked off with a keynote address by Scott Marcar - CIB CIO, before we launched into a series of in-depth tech talks lead by Helen Tippell - Chief Technology Officer, CIB Technology; Rebecca Khurana - VP, User Experience Designer; Shirin Hine - Head of Research Technology; and Paul Goudas - Head of ULL Engineering and US Head of FIC Technology.

After the tech talks concluded, Milena convened a panel of four women Tech leaders at Deutsche Bank who, in addition to exploring their own careers in tech, also answered questions from the audience. Our panel included Padma Elmgart- CIO CIB, Risk, Finance and Treasury – Americas; Shel Xu - Global Head of Level One Control and Surveillance; Aiola Tufa - Global Transaction Banking - Program Director; and Adegbemisola ("Gbemi") Adesemowo - Technology Manager, Global Prime Finance.

The night concluded with plenty of more opportunities to network with the night's speakers as well as the many other Deutsche Bank employees in attendance while enjoying delicious food and refreshments.
